Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Seminar on "Interpreting and Technology";
critical reflection and discussion on the state of the art for selected research questions; student presentations in class with subsequent completion of a seminar paper.

Assessment and permitted materials

Assessment for this course is based on a system of (max. 14) points and comprises regular attendance and active participation in the seminar sessions (max. 3 points), the quality of the oral presentation (max. 4 points) and the seminar paper (max. 7 points).

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

At least 8 points are necessary for a passing grade.
It is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED that seminar participants have already completed the introductory lecture course on Interpreting Studies ("Theoret. u. Angew. TW: Dolmetschwissenschaft").
