Aims, contents and method of the course

Übersetzen von Sachtexten (deutsch->englisch und englisch->deutsch); Textanalyse (terminologische Recherche, kultureller Kontext und Transfer), Textsorten); translatorischer Arbeitsprozess; Themen: Schwerpunkt auf Kultur, Kunst, Wissenschaft

Assessment and permitted materials

Prüfungsimmanente LV! Aktive Mitarbeit und regelmäßige Teilnahme sowie pünktliche Abgabe von Übersetzungsarbeiten werden vorausgesetzt. Semesterprüfung

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Die Studierenden sollen mit dem auftragsbezogenen Umgang mit Sachtexten vertraut gemacht werden; besseres Verständnis des Ausgangstextes in seinem kulturellen Kontext; Klärung von terminologischen Fragen und professionelle Arbeitswese

Examination topics

Erstellung von Übersetzungen in Form von schriftlichen Einzelarbeiten; wöchentliche Hausübung und Besprechung der Arbeiten im Unterricht. Terminologische Aufgaben (Umgang mit Hilfsmitteln)
