Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

EN:
- Reading of different types of text (literary, journalistic, advertising, imagery, etc.).
- Analysis of source texts and of the tasks asked of them.
- Planning the production of texts.
- Production of different types of text (summary, commentary, pamphlet, teaser, etc.).

Considering José Saramago's centenary, the reading of a complete novel by this Nobel Prize winner will be compulsory.

DE:
- Lesen verschiedener Textsorten (literarisch, journalistisch, Werbung, Bildsprache usw.).
- Analyse der Ausgangstexte und der ihnen gestellten Aufgaben.
- Planung der Produktion von Texten.
- Erstellung verschiedener Textarten (Zusammenfassung, Kommentar, Broschüre, Teaser usw.).

Anlässlich des hundertsten Geburtstags von José Saramago wird die Lektüre eines kompletten Romans dieses Nobelpreisträgers obligatorisch sein.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Serão avaliadas diferentes actividades ao longo do semestre. Para a obtenção de uma nota final positiva, é necessário o mínimo de 60% na totalidade de actividades.
1 (muito bom/sehr gut) 90-100%
2 (bom/gut) 80-89%
3 (satisfaz/befriedigend) 70-79%
4 (suficiente/genügend) 60-69%
5 (insuficiente/nicht genügend) 0-59%

Examination topics

Avaliação contínua.
Serão indicadas várias propostas de actividade no início do semestre, sendo o respectivo peso na avaliação decidido na 1ª aula em conjunto com a turma.
