Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

To become aware of different types of texts and their requirements with special attention given to various text functions and types, media, target groups, writing processes, revision and argumentation. Students should be able to improve and further develop their comprehension, writing, speaking and presentation skills in dealing with different subject matters and types of texts.
To achieve these objectives, we will look at and work with different types of texts (written, audio and audiovisual), formats and genres in reading and listening activities, writing assignments and presentations.
There will be weekly assignments, prepared individually and in groups.
