Aims, contents and method of the course

Learning outcomes

•- to explain the main features of technology-based media translation;
•- to explain how the technology-based media translation differs from traditional translation;
•- to explain the role of translation in contemporary superdiverse societies;
•- to use language resources in media translation;

Assessment and permitted materials

•Exercises (classroom and homework)
•Mid-term and end-of-term test
•Attendance (Students are required to attend classes regularly and to maintain an 85% attendance rate.)
