Aims, contents and method of the course

Improvement of skills needed to interpret and produce grammatically correct texts in English.
Exercises in class and on Moodle.
Tense review, conditionals, affixes, gerunds & infinitives, modal verbs, reported speech, relative clauses, the passive, etc.

Assessment and permitted materials

Mid-semester test (40%), end-of-term test (40%), two mini tests (10% each).
