Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
Presence in class is required, active participation and the handing in of assignments are vital for positive final results. All performances are marked and part of continuous assessment.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Students are to understand and master the basics of consecutive interpreting.
Examination topics
Preliminary exercises as required. Students will be asked to produce texts according to certain criteria (role, context, setting, target audience). Note-taking exercises are an important part of course work. Students will learn practicing on their own.
