Aims, contents and method of the course

Translatorische Bearbeitung vorwiegend französischsprachiger Texte aus verschiedenen Sachgebieten (Schwerpunkt Technik und Naturwissenschaften).

Textanalyse: Textsortenkonventionen, Umgang mit Fachsprache, Terminologierecherche
Übertragung: verschiedene Textsorten, Zielgruppen
Einsatz von Hilfsmitteln: Internetrecherche etc.
Analyse des Arbeitsprozesses

Assessment and permitted materials

Prüfungsimmanente LV: aktive Mitarbeit und durchgehende Präsenz erforderlich, Hausübungen und Vorbereitungsarbeit verpflichtend. Hausarbeit, schriftliche Semesterprüfung

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Erwerb translatorischer Basiskompetenz, Erweiterung der zielsprachlichen Ausdrucksmöglichkeiten, Erlernen professioneller Arbeitsmethoden.

Examination topics

Kontrastive Textarbeit. Unterschiedliche Aufgabenstellungen der Textproduktion. Vorbereitung als Hausübung einzeln oder in Gruppen. Präsentation und eingehende Besprechung in der Lehrveranstaltung. Behandlung sprachenpaarspezifischer und translatorischer Probleme.
