Processing of texts for various purposes; basic rhetorical knowledge and stylistic devices; presentation techniques.
Assessment and permitted materials
Attendance and participation in class, homework assignment, several individual and group presentations.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Identifying and processing information for various purposes and specific assignments; correct handling of language and style in oral presentations.
Examination topics
Oral processing of texts in individual assignments and group work: paraphrasing, summarizing; presentation of self-written speeches/statements based on selected texts.
