Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
Performance of positive achievements during the lessons; completion of homework; the best 4 achievements are used for the grade. Permitted aids: computer;
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
To participate in the course, it is sufficient to study either French or Russian regularly.
Very good command of both languages (Russian/German or French/German); skills in simultaneous interpreting at Simultan II level; willingness to develop new and expand existing interpreting strategies;
Assessment: The content of the interpreting performance (accuracy in terms of content, dates, names, numbers, completeness, comprehensibility & coherence and terminology) accounts for 50% of the overall grade; the reproduction in the target language (syntax, grammar, complete sentences, idiomatic expressions, lexis (lexical/stylistic aspects, language register, pronunciation, avoiding interference); 20% of the assessment is based on interpreting skills and presentation (fluency, prosody, problem-solving skills, application of interpreting strategies, correction of errors, time lag;

Positive interpretation performances, 3 exam simulations during the semester if desired
