Aims, contents and method of the course

- Planning and periodization of training in sports and training therapy
- Performance diagnostics in the lab and on the field
- Velocity-based training
- Concurrent training
- High-intensity interval training in endurance and strength training
- Regeneration and overtraining
- Influence of climatic conditions on physical performance and acclimatization strategies

Assessment and permitted materials

Written exam at the end of the semester.

You are explicitly informed that if a result was obtained by fraudulent means (e.g. copying, plagiarism, use of unauthorized aids, forgeries, ghostwriting, etc.), the entire exam is considered cheated and counts as a trial. (Entry in U: SPACE: X = not assessed).

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The minimum requirement for a positive assessment is 60% of the total points obtainable in the final exam.

Grading key:
Nicht genügend (5): <60%
Genügend (4): 60-70%
Befriedigend (3): 71-80%
Gut (2): 81-90%
Sehr gut (1): 91-100%

Examination topics

Resource materials distributed in class and further reading indicated therein. The final exam will be performed as written test (60 min, multiple choice).
