Aims, contents and method of the course

1. Combative Games
2. Mixed Martial Arts / Main Focus: Boxing, Kickboxing and Tae Kwon Do
3. Basics of Self-Defense

- The course aims to present an overview of the various exercises and elements of martial arts ,which can be taught in the classroom.
- Intensive demonstrations using the various postures and positions show how to defuse or avoid a dangerous or threatening situation.
- Reflection and debate on the issue of self defense contributes to an enhanced capacity to teach and direct self defense and duelling.

Assessment and permitted materials

- Regular attendance
- Active participation
- Reflection protocol according to Hospitation Kampfsportverein/USI course
- Implementation of teaching practice
- Creating a lesson plan

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Valuation:
A maximum of 100 points are awarded, the following grade scale applies:
below 55 points: Not enough (5)
55 - 65 points: Sufficient (4)
66 - 75 points: Satisfactory (3)
76 - 85 points: Good (2)
86 - 100 points: Very good (1)
