Aims, contents and method of the course

Teaching of theoretical knowledge and practical application skills to scientifically substantiated relaxation techniques for applications in sports, rehabilitation and health psychology: autogenic training, progressive muscle relaxation n Jacobson, breathing relaxation, trance induction/hypnosis, imagery, mindfulness.

Methods:
Lecture, small group work, speeches, implementation of operations theory knowledge through practical exercises; the techniques are each actively practiced

Goals:
- Teaching basic knowledge of scientifically proven relaxation techniques and psychophysiological foundations
- Detailed knowledge and application skills in the correct implementation of various relaxation exercises
- Self-experience with applied relaxation techniques

Assessment and permitted materials

Cooperation, small group work: presentation and/or practical instruction, practice efficiency, both theoretical and practical guided reflection

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

min. 75% presence
