Aims, contents and method of the course

A variety of didactic/methodic concepts for teaching/providing adapted physical activities in heterogeneous groups according to the disability are presented and tried out. Instructions which are differentiated and adapted according the sports or independent offers of physical activity are demonstrated and practiced.

Assessment and permitted materials

- participation on regular basis
- taking of reflective minutes at pratical courses and visits
- micro teaching

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Goals:

- introduction to pedagogical aspects, training specific provisions, and didactic concepts used when working with individuals with (mental) disabilities

- to come to know practical examples of APA and disability sport (in clubs or institutions) or inclusive offers

- to inspire and devolop a problem oriented consciousness of practices when dealing with people with disabilities

- Knowledge oriented introduction into theory and practice
- visits and observation at APA offers
- practical work with several groups
- discussion
- critical thinking with respect to issues and concept in disability and inclusive sports and adapted physical activity
