Also you have to bring your swimwear.
Women: swimsuit, sports bikini or Burkini
Men: sports trunks with short or long legs

The date of the academic Championship will follow.

There will be a Tutorium for swimming teach by Pascal Pavlik.

Aims, contents and method of the course

practical AND theoretical competence of all four strokes
turns of all strokes
coordinative drills and exercises
diving
being able to define goals individually and having the competence to work towards those goals
video based analysis of your own, your collegues' and professionals' techniques

Assessment and permitted materials

active participation
reach the swim limit of 100m breaststroke and freestyle
50m presentation of selfcompetence of freestyle, and breaststroke including turns and dive
written exam about the theory of swimming

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

- theoretical knowledge and practical skill of all 4 strokes
- theoretical knowledge and practical skill of the turns
- improvement of your own skills in freestyle, backstroke and breaststroke
- gaining the basic skill of butterfly
- improvement of your turning skills
- motion analysis of the strokes and pointing out the main flaws

Examination topics

everything covered during the lessons concerning the theoretical knowledge of all four strokes, their turns and the dives; also basic knowledge of the FINA rules (important for taking part in school swimming competitions) and the biomechanical basics of objects/athletes in the water
supportive literature is pointed out to deepen the knowledge
improving your own practical skills
swim the 100m breaststroke and freestyle in time
motion analysis of the strokes
