Aims, contents and method of the course
Objectives: to name, understand and apply basics of descriptive and inferential statistics; to choose and apply adequate statistical methods using practical examples from the field of sports science (using SPSS); interpretation of statistical resultsContents: terms and methods of descriptive/inferential statistics; statistical testing procedures; graphic presentation of results; application of SPSSMethods: interactive lecture; revision quizzes; guided and independend practicing in SPSS; home exercises; video tutorials

Overall grade is comprised of:
- homework (30%)

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Attendance of 75% of the course in presence. Submission of homework on moodle withing the deadlines. The final exam has to be passed (at least 25 points). For a positive grade a minimum of 60 points have to be attained.Grading key:
