Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Acquisition of key competences to prepare scientific essays: developing research questions, literature search, critical evaluation of sources, set up hypotheses, scientific writing and presentation, correct citation. The course is an important basis for writing seminar, bachelor and master theses.
Assessment and permitted materials
Attendance (min. 75%) and participation, e-learning tasks, presentation and handout, final thesis.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Acquisition of key competencies for scientific work. Practical application of learned course content in the presentation, thesis and tasks. Good quality of the delivered individual performances.
Examination topics
Theoretical input of lecturers, exercises, presentation, thesis, group discussion.
