Aims, contents and method of the course

The students know the safety problems, the risk potential and the most important legal norms for teaching in Bewegung und Sport and can deal with them constructively.

The following contents of the course are developed, based on the theoretical foundations by dealing with cases originating from practice, in such a way that an independent solution competence develops in these areas: accident research, accident prevention, safety promotion, school and lesson organization, liability, supervision, performance assessment, school events, curricula

In addition to conveying the theoretical foundations, dealing with case studies is an essential method of acquiring competence.
Due to the high relevance for an activity as a teacher for Bewegung und Sport, attendance at the lecture is strongly recommended.

Assessment and permitted materials

Written performance assessment (online questionnaire)

The questions/tasks are carried out as a mixture of different forms of survey (open questions, text/image analysis, MC, SC) whereby each question/task is assigned a certain score. Depending on the answer, from 0 to maximum points of the question/task can be achieved. Aids are not allowed.

Technical requirements:
The exam is conducted as a written digital exam with a visual and acoustic web presence.
Therefore, a device with Internet access, camera and microphone is required. The sound output (not the microphone) on the device can also be muted.
Exam:
After registration and activation for the exam in u:space, the candidates will receive an access code to the meeting platform Zoom.
A registration with the platform about 10-15 minutes before the start of the exam with the help of the access data sent and the name on the platform. After a short time, admission to the examination takes place. The camera and microphone of the device must be switched on during the entire examination time.
Examination process:
At the beginning of the exam, candidates will receive a link with the access data to an electronic form via the chat-function of Zoom.
The form must be opened and completed. The order of the answer is arbitrary, but it is recommended to proceed step by step.
When the form has been completed, you must click on "Submit" at the end of the form.
There are 20 minutes to fill out the form. After these 20 minutes, no more forms are accepted by the server.
The form page must be closed. You cannot resubmit the form.
The meeting platform can be left. The examination is completed for the person concerned.
The notification of the assessment takes place in the usual form via the university account.

You are expressly informed that if a cheated service (e.B: copying, plagiarism, use of unauthorized aids, forgeries, ghostwriting, etc.) is determined, the entire PI-LV will be considered cheated and counts as a start. (Entry in U:SPACE: X = not assessed).

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The students are familiar with the safety-relevant and legal framework conditions for teaching in exercise and sport at the school.

... critically evaluate practical examples and assess movement-related teaching content with regard to their safety-relevant aspects.

Within the framework of a written performance assessment (digital questionnaire), at least two thirds of the maximum possible points must be achieved for a positive assessment.
... develop an awareness of safety, responsibility and problems in relation to physical education activities.
... assess and evaluate the risk moment of sporting activities.
... interpret teaching-specific sources of law related to Bewegung und Sport as well as movement-educational school events.
... deal with everyday security and legal issues related to the teaching of Bewegung und Sport and school events.
