Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
The entire performance by students must be completed by 30 April at the latest in the case of courses subject to examinations in the winter semester, and by 30 September at the latest in the case of courses subject to examinations in the summer semester. Students who have not deregistered from the course, will be assessed. In the case of a negative assessment, a board examination is inadmissible and the course must be repeated. Legal source: Statutes of the University of Vienna §10 (4, 5, 6).You are expressly informed that if you are found to have cheated (e.g.: copying, plagiarism, use of unauthorised aids, forgery, ghostwriting, etc.) the entire PI-LV will be considered cheated and will be counted. Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Attendance is compulsory for 75% of the units.Presentation on the ethical aspects of one's own research work - 40%.
Seminar paper with reference to one's own dissertation - 60%.Minimum requirement for positive assessment is 60% of the total points.
Grading scale:
Unsatisfactory (5): <60%
Adequate (4): 60-70%
Satisfactory (3): 71-80%
Good (2): 81-90
Very good (1): 91-100%
