Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This seminar aims at strengthening students’ research competency, including statistics, and represents a precondition for master thesis in sport psychology. Students will learn how to perform literature research and analyze existing evidence, develop a research question, formulate hypotheses, perform data analysis, and document the research.
Assessment and permitted materials
Completion of assigned tasks and a final exam in the end of the semester.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Attendance, participation in team work, completion of assigned tasks, final exam.
Examination topics
Students will be provided with scientific literature that gives an overview of research in sport psychology. Based on that, students will formulate hypotheses, develop research designs, and demonstrate the ability to analyze and interpret data.
Reading list
The literature will be provided in the first session of the semester and via Moodle.
