Aims, contents and method of the course

In this lecture students should reflect about the topic of disabilities and inclusion and get better informations about the target group of children with special needs.

The following topics will be discussed in the course:
definition integration / inclusion
overlook about different forms of disabilities
criteria for an inclusive approach for physical education
legal regulations
paedagnostic and the effect on lesson-planning
didactic attempts and methods for physical education in an inclusiv setting

Assessment and permitted materials

attendance and active participation
hospitation
oral group presentation
written exam

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

theoretical introduction fort he work in an inclusiv school system
the students should know about individualized teaching approaches in heterogeneous groups and make appropriate chioces of content and method
examples for inclusiv sport lessons
individualisation as a core principle for an inclusive physical education
