This course is devised for all students who have decided on a topic (research question) for a master’s/Magister’s thesis or are working on their dissertation. The goal of this course is to discuss topics and questions in the field of sports science, which are being addressed in terms of academic qualification theses.
In this course, students will be supported in writing their academic papers. Presentations and discussions of specific sports-science-related questions and research-methodological approaches in sports science are the primary goals of this course.
The course is also devised for students, who are looking for suggestion methodology- and content-wise, and/or who would like to know in advance, which criteria need to be considered when working on an academic qualification thesis.
Additionally, students will be provided with instructions concerning formal criteria as well as citation guidelines (APA-Standard).
