Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Students will learn how to improve their basic athletic skills and to teach shot put, high jump, 60 sprint and the 1500m run.
Assessment and permitted materials
Requirements:1. Students have to participate in more that 75% of the lessons, investigate and research the information about track, how to improve their athletik skills.2. They have to design a plan for a training over half a year in a track or field diszipline.3. They have to reach some results in the 60m sprint, high jump and shot put. If they fail in one of them, they can compensate with a good performance in 1500m.4. Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Students will improve their own abilities in the 60m sprint, high jump and shot put and learn how to use that knowledge while teaching other sports.Further they will learn about the all time greatest athletes and the developement of some of the most important disziplines.
Examination topics
Students have to work together with other students, learn about track on their own and watch professional track trainers and athletes at some trainings or competitions.
