Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This seminar series covering pending issues of digital transformation and new technologies, in particular Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence and Big Data, will be held jointly with law firm BINDER GRÖSSWANG (coordination on the side of BINDER GRÖSSWANG: Raoul Hoffer). Therefore the topics will not only be discussed from the academic point of view, but under consideration of advisory practice and current business context. For this purpose the seminar series will include three lectures on selected relevant topics, which will be jointly held by experts from University of Vienna and BINDER GRÖSSWANG. The seminars will in be moderated by Nikolaus Forgó und Raoul Hoffer.• Lecture 1: Initial Coin Offerings (Stephan Heckenthaler / Martin Miernicki)• Lecture 2: Blockchain und Smart Contracts (Emanuel Welten / Žiga Škorjanc)• Lecture 3: Data Ownership (Ivo Rungg / [●IDR●])Besides students, experts from BINDER GRÖSSWANG and other invited guests from the legal community will participate in the seminars and presentations.
