Aims, contents and method of the course

The topic of the course is imperfect information in financial markets. The course provides an introduction to information choice and learning with applications to corporate finance and asset pricing. The goal of the course is (i) to give you an overview of the existing literature and (ii) to provide you with the technical tools needed to do research in this field.

Assessment and permitted materials

Grades for this course will be based on homework assignments, a presentation, a research proposal, and a written exam.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

To pass the course, you need to achieve an aggregate score of at least 50%.
