Aims, contents and method of the course
Assessment and permitted materials
There will be a grade. The grade will be based on 40% for each of the research proposals and 20% for live participation.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
For successfully passing the course, at most two meetings can be missed.
Examination topics
A research proposal sketches the area of research, what is known and what is still unknown and with which methods one wants to study the questions that are still open.

Contents: All areas of economics.
Methods: External speakers present their recent research articles. The audience discusses with the speaker. Students are required to participate in these discussions. A brief research project (2-4 pages) should be submitted for two of the seminars within 2 weeks of the presentation.
