Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Shortest path problems, Traveling salesman problems, Vehicle routing problems and Applications
Assessment and permitted materials
There will be 2 exams (30% each), 2 homework assignments (10% and 15%), class participation (3 exercises to be prepared for presentation at the blackboard, each 5%). At least 50% are required for a positive grade.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Knowledge of problems and solution methods in transportation.
Examination topics
Heuristics and metaheuristics tailored to the different problems studied, modeling techniques and exact solution methods (LP-Solvers).
