In the first part, this seminar deals with both manual and computer assisted content analysis. It reviews and applies the practical steps in doing content analysis, from codebook development, coder training, dictionary development software handling, and reliability assessments. The second part then focuses on approaches to linking media content to other types of data, both on the micro and macro level.
