Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The seminar Experimental Designs and Analysis of Experimental Data offers an in-depth understanding of the application of different experimental methods in the social sciences. It guides through the planning and application process of experiment research designs and deals with steps such as stimulus validation or questionnaire design, with ethics involved with experimental research, with different types of measurements, and with different types of analysis of experimental data. Discussion involves the design of traditional lab-experiments, including factorial experiments, online experiments, or quasi-experiments. The seminar also focuses on the measurement and analysis of mediation effects in experimental designs.
