Aims, contents and method of the course

The research workshop aims to stimulate the academic exchange concerning methodological questions and challenges that rise in processes of data collecting and analysis. The workshop addresses doctoral candidates who have completed their FÖP. The work within the seminar is carried out on the basis of participants’ empirical material. Knowledge in methods of quantitative data collection and analysis is required.

Assessment and permitted materials

Active participation (presentation and preparation of a working session 50%); two written feedbacks on projects of the participants of the research workshop (25%) and two reviews / summaries of (methodological) texts relevant for the own research (25%).
