Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The Forschungskolloquium Media and Politics is intended for those whose research is situated in the intersection of political communication, media representations and effects, and political sociology. The aim of the colloquium is to advance the doctoral research projects both in theoretical and methodological terms. Therefore we will focus on matters of research design, including measurement and data collection issues and analysis, and on a theoretically sound embedding of research questions and hypotheses. Participants are expected to contribute substantially to the colloquium by discussing their own and others’ research plans.
