- the epistemological backgrounds of communication and media studies,
- the strength and weaknesses of social and/ or cultural theory frameworks
- the constructivist turn from systems theory to philosophical turn
- the history of paradigms in communication and media studies
and shall provide PHD students with competence and reasonability in critical assessment of theoretical concepts for their phd-projects.
