Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Framing is a popular theoretical concept in political science, communication research, and sociology. The class will read and discuss the key pillars of the framing paradigm; from the framing of strategic messages by communicators, to journalist´s framing of political news, and to the effects of frames on citizen´s attitudes and opinions. The current state of the art regarding theoretical disputes and methodological conundrums will be discussed.
