Aims, contents and method of the course

This course will introduce the political theory of democratic representation, including (1) current concepts of democratic representation, (2) issues in electoral representation, (3) representation and constituency formation; (4) representation and deliberative democracy, (5) new and emerging forms of democratic representation.
The public lecture on Thursday, April 28, at 5:00 pm will be entitled: A Problem-Based Approach to Democratic Theory
