The course will take place in a hybrid way, in a mix of on-site and online teaching at the times indicated above. The preliminary meeting on October, 14th, 2020 and the last session on January, 27th, 2021 will take place online via video conferencing tool (in Moodle). On the other dates, sessions with compulsory on-site attendance in the seminar room are planned (with a reduced number of participants). Should the general conditions change due to Covid-19, the seminar will be continued online on the given dates.

Aims, contents and method of the course
The seminar is conceived as a colloquium of the focus "State, Politics, Governance in Historical Perspective" of the Doctoral School of the Faculty of History and Cultural Studies. It offers a place to present the programme of the focus, to discuss relevant texts in terms of content and methodology and to present projects related to the focus.
Assessment and permitted materials
Active participation in the discussion of readings and papers, presentation of the participant's research projects from the perspective of the seminar theme.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Active participation in the seminar and one presentation, reading of articles and papers that relate to the subject of the seminar.
