Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The main purpose of the event is the exchange of PhDs and supervisors involved in the focus "Art History and Visual Culture" of the Doctoral School of the Faculty (https://dshcs.univie.ac.at) as well as the presentation of dissertation projects. However, PhDs who are not part of the focus may also attend. The focus of the blocked event (in June) is on project presentations and their discussion. A joint program will be developed for the April and May dates. Project presentations at the 'main colloquium' in June are to be arranged with the supervisors. Their presence at the presentation is expected.

Assessment and permitted materials

Project presentations (June date) and/or contributions to be agreed upon for the other dates.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

An evaluation as well as ECTS credits will be awarded for the project presentations (June) and for other contributions to be agreed upon. The evaluation will be done in consultation with the supervisors. The (occasional) assumption such as moderation and responses as well as participation in the joint discussion is expected.
