Aims, contents and method of the course

We would like to discuss with you theoretical and methodological concepts which use micro-history for addressing general questions of political, social, and cultural practices and their transformation. This will be, however, not a guided reading through the different variants of micro-history, in particular the Italian, German, French, and English ones. We would like to explore with you the possibilities to use these conceptual tools fro your own research.
