Aims, contents and method of the course

The event is aimed at doctoral students in the focus area "Social and Economic Spaces" as well as students in other focus areas with thematic and methodological connections. Both advanced doctoral students and doctoral students who are at the beginning of their dissertation project are addressed.
The aim is reflection on the methodology of the dissertation and the handling of sources as well as support in writing or improving relevant chapters. The focus is on the joint processing of sample sources selected by the doctoral candidates. Depending on progress and needs, these sources are linked to methodological key texts, existing or preliminary chapters of the dissertation or the dissertation synopsis. The doctoral students are free to design the unit on their dissertation project. Depending on the needs of the participants, the design of the colloquium can still be supplemented or adapted together.
