Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The aim of this PhD seminar is firstly to provide a forum for the presentation and discussion of student works in progress. A further concern of this seminar is the consideration of relevant issues and methodologies in media studies and cultural studies.
Assessment and permitted materials
Regular attendance, written presentation (e.g. a chapter, a project outline, a proposal etc.)
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The aim of this seminar is that the work of PhD students will be informed and developed by the presentation and discussion of their work with fellow students. This context will also allow students to engage with alternative methodologies and theoretical frameworks encountered in other student's work.
Examination topics
Oral and written presentations, input by guest lecturers, class discussions.
