Aims, contents and method of the course

The content and structure of the course consider the specific needs of the participating linguistic PhD candidates. These needs on the way to a successful PhD thesis are bundled and jointly sharpened in the first unit of the course.

The course aims above all at
- a problem-oriented discussion of the complex challenges of linguistic PhD projects
- the acquisition of key skills on the way to successfully completing a PhD thesis
- the consolidation of academic reflexivity and professionalization

Assessment and permitted materials

Active and regular participation in the course in the form of reading, oral and written discussion contributions, each closely related to the individual PhD project.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Assessment is based on active and regular participation in the course in the form of reading and oral and written contributions to the discussion.
