Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
The seminary for the graduation thesis is interdisciplinary. Literary currents and linguistic normative processes have taken place in all European literatures and languages on the basis of societal and historical conditions. The phenomenon will be discussed on the example of specific literatures and languages, thus considering their mutual influences in the European area.
Assessment and permitted materials
Compulsory attendance, short presentation. At the end of the term a work (oral presentation) about the elaborated conceptions of the thesis’s.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
The participants will be supported in the elaboration of their respective subjects and motivated. Depending on their basic study orientations (Slavic, Romance, English, German studies), they will be deepen the European interrelations in regards to their subject.
Examination topics
German: Discussions of the up to date works regarding the thesis. Discussion of the literature according to the section. Discussion of the philosophical, societal and historic periods, which are related to the literary, cultural-historical and linguistic subject of the respective thesis’s.
Reading list
The literature will be discussed according to the respective subjects of the thesis.
