Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
This seminar focuses on complex educational research in which several perspectives are integrated, such as different research questions, research methods, research approaches, theoretical lenses, disciplines, different perspectives of researchers and/or research participants et cetera. As much of educational research is complex, it is to be expected that many post-doctoral students will benefit from attending this seminar. Based upon examples and questions from participants, we discuss how we can manage and welcome these differences in the best possible way.
Assessment and permitted materials
• At the beginning of the course, students formulate a problem that they would like to work on during the course.
• Submission of draft products at several occasions during the course
• Submission of an end product at the end of the course
• Active participation in the seminar meetings
• Feedback to other participants
• Oral presentation of work-in-progress
• All materials are permitted, provided that they are referenced, and their use is justified.
