Continuous assessment of course work

The doctoral seminar will generally take place every second week. The exact dates will be announced in the first seminar unit in the second week of March. The participation in our Nietzsche reading group, which accompanies this Privatissimum, is voluntary.

Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

Languages: German and English.
The participation and presentation of a text in this seminar is obligatory for all doctoral and master candidates I have accepted to supervise.

Assessment and permitted materials

Regular attendance of the doctoral and diploma seminar. Oral and written presentation of your works or presentation of another text, relevant for your thesis.

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Presenting, interpreting and discussing your Diploma and PH.D. thesis. Rhetoric training, argumentation training. Preparation for PH.D. hearings.

Examination topics

Interpretation and discussusion of your Master- and PH.D. work. Handout (2 pages) and the study of the texts provided on Moodle is obligatory for all participatns of the seminar
