Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The seminar is targeted at helping Master and Doctoral students with the planning, outline, and writing of scientific papers, funding proposals and academic CVs. Supported by a native-speaker English trainer, the seminar will be conducted in small groups, and will draw
on relevant examples of students’ original work at different stages of their degree. The course is limited to 14 participants.

Assessment and permitted materials

Assessment will be based on preparation for and active participation in class discussions

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Assessment is based on (a) the submission of weekly homework, (b) regular class attendance (max. 2 absences*), (b) active participation in class discussions.
