Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

The topics of this lecture series fall within the scope of research on environmental processes (aquatic and terrestrial). This comprises hydrogeology, transformation and fate of organic and inorganic contaminants, element cycles and the behavior, fate and detection of nanoparticles.
In the context of this lecture invited researchers with an international reputation are presenting their current research interests and results. The talks will be held in English. The talks are followed by a discussion session to encourage the knowledge exchange with the invited lecturers.

Assessment and permitted materials

regular attendance and active participation

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

The course will be evaluated on a pass/fail basis only ("mit Erfolg teilgenommen" (+) bzw. "ohne Erfolg teilgenommen" (-)).

An attendance of at least 70% of the scheduled seminars is required for a successful evaluation (pass/"mit Erfolg teilgenommen") of the course.
