Information

Aims, contents and method of the course

This is a joint, collaborative seminar series by multiple FGGA departments: Institut für Geologie, Department für Lithosphärenforschung, Institut für Mineralogie und Kristallographie, Institut für Paläontologie. The majority of talks are held in English. The presentations are followed by questions and discussion, and participants are exposed to cutting edge research underway at external institutions.

Assessment and permitted materials

Regular attendance at multiple geoscience talks across the disciplines

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Participants will be required to send the course leader a brief summary of the Syposium at the end of the semester, summarising the content of the talks.
