Aims, contents and method of the course

Astrophysical conditions for habitability on planets; influence of the central
star (wind, radiation), physics of atmospheric erosion, dynamical effects in planetary
systems, planet formation in protoplanetary disks, transport of important molecules

Seminar presentation; also participation in audience

Minimum requirements and assessment criteria

Understanding current scientific knowledge related to habitability

Examination topics

Students give presentations on current topics based on modern literature
