Information
Aims, contents and method of the course
Based on original texts, we shall study essential topics and paradigm shifts in astronomy - from antiquity to the 20th century. Our emphasis will be on Plato, Aristotle, Cusanus, Kepler, Galileo, Newton, Bessel, Einstein, Hubble.
