Aims, contents and method of the course

The joint Master and PhD Seminar aims at gaining professional skills in elaborating, presenting and reflecting critical on a selected research topic (e.g. master thesis). Hereby, Master students can take advantage form the experience of the PhDs and PhDs practise constructive feedback.

Methods:
Participants will present their scientific aspirations, concepts and results in 20 min presentations. The works will be discussed regarding general questions and scientific relevance.

Minimum requirements:
- presence
- presentation
- review of one presentation

assessment scale:
- presentation (50%)
- active engagement in discussion (30%)
- review (20%)
