Aims, contents and method of the course
The aim of the course is orientation in all genres of the Old Russian literature. Every text will be accompanied by historical and literary commentary. A special focus of the course is close reading of certain passages in the original accompanied by literary and grammatical commentary.
Assessment and permitted materials
Orientation in the examination topics, a presentation during the semester, the work during the lessons, reading.
Minimum requirements and assessment criteria
Students should show knowlige of the history of Old Russian literature in general and be capable to read a small passage with comments.
